Square & True is the kitchen work of Reeve & Co Interiors, a joinery house founded in Suffolk in 2015. Everything is drawn here, machined here, assembled here, painted here and fitted by the same hands.
About us
Seven ranges, all of them bespoke
The range decides the door and the ornament. Everything behind it — the carcass, the frame, the drawer boxes, the finish — is built the same way whichever one you choose.
The Suffolk
Our hand-painted in-frame shaker kitchen. A flat recessed panel, no mouldings, no carving — the quietest of the seven and the one we make most.
The Essex
Run mouldings, astragal glazing and hand-cut carving. For houses that are already carrying that language and deserve to be matched rather than argued with.
The Scandi
Handleless solid timber against matt black, finished in hard-wax oil. No frame, no moulding, no paint on the timber. The grain is the detail.
The Kensington
Sprayed and veneered, book-matched and sequenced. Flush fronts, integrated appliances, and a reveal that has to be right because there is no handle to look at instead.
The Farmhouse
A working room. Painted in-frame, built around the range and the sink, and scribed to a building that was never square and never will be.
The Norfolk
Painted in-frame in strong colour set against unpainted oak, with oiled oak on the runs and stone on the island. For rooms that want colour without losing the timber.
Modular & Freestanding
Made as furniture rather than as a fitted run. Islands, dressers, larder cupboards and sink stands that stand clear of the wall and can be moved.

Open-Plan Kitchen
Character oak against matt black, handleless throughout, in an open-plan room with a whole wall of glazing onto the fields.
Catherine Place
A hand-painted in-frame kitchen in the lower ground floor of a Westminster townhouse, with a curved walnut breakfast bar worked into the island and every appliance taken into the joinery.
Country House Kitchen
A moulded in-frame painted kitchen built around two carved chimneypieces, with a full island, astragal-glazed wall cupboards and a steel rack hung over on chain.
Drawn at full size before anything is cut
Every commission is drawn twice. Once in CAD, and again at full size as a rod pinned above the bench while the parts are machined. It is the oldest method in the trade and it is still the only way to be certain a drawing and a room agree.

The fourteen to twenty weeks, laid out week by week, including the parts where nothing appears to be happening and the parts where the decision is yours.
A day in the workshop at Mickfield
Seven in the morning to half past four, nine people, and about four thousand pounds of somebody's kitchen made between them.
Fitting a kitchen into a listed building
Consent, reversibility and 40mm of lean. What actually changes when the house you are working in is on the list.
From the first design meeting to the final installation, Reeve & Co were outstanding. The new kitchen has completely transformed how we live as a family - it feels calm, beautifully made and works perfectly day to day.

Square & True, Bryn Hall and Sporting Cabinetmakers are trading names of Reeve & Co Interiors Ltd. Old Fashioned Bathrooms is the bathroom company in the same yard at Mickfield. We keep them separate because someone looking for a kitchen, a dining table or a gun cabinet is better served by a specialist than by a category page — but the drawings, the bench, the spray shop and the fitting team are the same, so finishes match across whatever you order.
