White label manufacturing
We make furniture for other people to sell under their own name. No marks, no badges, no contact with your client unless you ask for it.
What white label means here
It means the work leaves Suffolk with nothing on it that says where it came from. No stamped drawer box, no branded hinge cover, no label inside the carcass, no van livery on the street. Crates are marked with your job reference and nothing else.
Drawings are issued in your title block if you want them that way. Handover documentation, care instructions and warranty paperwork can be produced in your typeface and under your name. If you would rather issue those yourself, we supply the content as editable copy.
We fit or we do not, as you prefer. Our teams can install in unmarked clothing under your project manager, or we can deliver to site and hand over to your fitters with a full setting-out drawing and a numbered crate schedule.
Who it suits
Interior design practices with a kitchen line and no workshop. Architects delivering a furniture package under a design and build contract. Kitchen companies with a showroom, a sales team and outsourced production. Developers with a house style to hold across multiple plots.
It suits people who care what the inside of a drawer box looks like. If the driver of the decision is unit price alone, we are the wrong workshop and we will say so at the first call.
What we need
Drawings, or a brief and a budget to draw against. If you have shop drawings we work to them. If you have design intent, our drawing service takes it to production drawings, priced separately.
A specification: carcass material, frame and door construction, finish system and reference, hardware schedule, appliance schedule, worktop and edge detail.
A site survey. Either yours, with named datums and recorded floor and wall readings, or ours. If we do not survey it we work to your dimensions and the scribe risk sits with you, which we will state in the order.
A programme with real dates, and a single named contact who can sign off. One decision-maker is worth two weeks.
Pricing and capacity
Trade pricing is on a schedule of rates: per cabinet by type and size, plus finish, plus hardware at cost plus a handling percentage, plus delivery and installation if taken. Rates are fixed for a twelve-month term and reviewed annually against timber and coatings costs.
Volume moves the rate. So does repeat work with a standard specification, because a repeated carcass is set up once. A one-off in a listed building is priced as a one-off.
Capacity is committed by slot, not by promise. We book workshop weeks in advance and we tell you what we can take and when. Lead time on trade work runs 14 to 20 weeks from approved drawings, the same as our own. We would rather turn a job down than take one we cannot make properly.
Payment is 40 per cent on order, 50 per cent on delivery and the balance on completion of fitting. The contract is normally direct with the client rather than through the main contractor.
Confidentiality
We sign non-disclosure agreements as a matter of course and we will sign yours rather than insisting on ours.
We do not photograph white label work for our own use. We do not name the client, the practice or the address, and it does not appear on this website or anywhere else. Where a project has been published under your name we will not claim it.
Your client is your client. If they contact us directly we tell you and refer them back to you.
To discuss capacity, send the drawings or the brief to the workshop. Square & True Cabinetmakers, Stonham Road, Mickfield, Stowmarket, Suffolk IP14 5LS.
